She gained recognition in the 1920s for her roles as a young lady in various professional theaters in Barcelona and was part of the Catalan company at Teatre Novetats led by Carles Capdevila. Jofre co-founded the Jofre-Gener Company with her husband, actor Pere Gener, and became highly esteemed for her work in voice dubbing, lending her voice to characters played by Elizabeth Taylor and Grace Kelly.
