Elsie Sylvia Selmer Høge was a Norwegian educator and women's rights advocate, born in London on June 13, 1913, and passed away on November 8, 1993. She was the daughter of bank director Carl Frederik Selmer and initially worked at Barclays Bank in the 1930s. Høge obtained a master's degree in pedagogy and psychology, later becoming a lecturer at Statens lærerhøgskole in Oslo. She was also involved in the publication of Kvinnens verden and served as a central board member of the Norwegian Women's Rights Association from 1948 to 1954.
