Ella Griffiths (born March 22, 1926, in Oslo, died 1990) was a Norwegian author known for her novels, crime stories, children's books, and short stories. She published under various names including Ella Griffiths Ormhaug and Ella Hytten. Her debut novel, 'Lenket til kjærligheten', was released in 1957. Notably, her work 'Hilsen Lucifer' was awarded 3rd prize in a Nordic crime novel competition in 1969. One of her short stories was adapted for the English TV series 'Tales of the Unexpected'. She also contributed to children's programming on Norwegian radio.
