El Campeño, born Antonio González Gordón, was a Spanish novillero and banderillero from Campo Real, Madrid. He was active in the 1960s and performed alongside notable figures like Enrique Martín Arranz. Tragically, he died on May 31, 1988, from a severe neck wound inflicted by a bull named Vitola during a bullfighting event.
