Born on March 30, 1901, in Höganäs, he studied architecture and painting, while painting in an impressionistic style, particularly noted for works created in Sandhamn. His artwork is represented in several prestigious institutions, including the Nationalmuseum and Moderna museet in Stockholm, as well as the Brooklyn Museum. Palme passed away on February 11, 1993, in Stockholm.
