Einar Groth was a Swedish violinist, conductor, and composer, born on December 30, 1903, in Uppsala and passed away on May 9, 1964, in Enskede. He studied at the Royal College of Music and became the concertmaster of Sune Waldimir's radio orchestra in 1936. Later, he formed his own orchestra. He was also known by the pseudonyms Bernhard Eje and Paul Gorensky. Groth was the father of actress and singer Erna Groth, who lived from 1931 to 1993.
