Efraim Shmueli (November 28, 1908 – June 9, 1988) was an Israeli educator, writer, historian, essayist, and translator. He taught in Haifa and Cleveland, USA, and founded and managed a teachers' seminary in Haifa. His research focused on issues in Jewish history and culture, as well as philosophical and social problems. He was awarded the Tchernichovsky Prize for outstanding translations in 1948.
