Edwin Picon-Ackong (born November 4, 1940) is a retired football referee from Mauritius. He is notable for officiating a match in the 1986 FIFA World Cup in Mexico between Iraq and Paraguay. The game caused controversy as Picon-Ackong blew the whistle for the second half half a second before Iraqi forward Ahmad Radhi headed the ball into the net, disallowing the goal. He faced significant criticism for his timing in making the call, which denied Iraq a potential goal during a strong scoring opportunity.
