Edward Phillip Solbé (1902-1961) was an English cricketer known for his batting skills. He gained prominence during his school days in World War I and played fifteen first-class matches for Kent County Cricket Club. Solbé was typically a lower-order batsman, scoring two half-centuries, the first against Sussex in 1921, followed by another against Worcestershire in 1922. His legacy includes being the son of Frank Solbé, an international hockey player for England. Edward passed away in 1961 at the age of 59.
