Before his presidency at OSU, he held the position of executive vice president and provost at Ohio State University for six years. Ray's total gross salary at OSU was $666,198, combining his presidential and professorial roles in the School of Public Policy. Additionally, he is the chairman of the NCAA's Executive Committee.
