Edward Castro was an American serial killer who committed a series of murders in Florida between 1986 and 1987. He fatally stabbed three men and was tried for two of the murders, receiving a life sentence for one and a death sentence for the other. Castro chose to waive his appeals and represented himself in court, seeking his own execution, which was carried out by lethal injection in 2000.
