Edward Augustus Holyoke (March 10, 1908 – August 20, 2001) was an American physician, anatomist, and professor at the University of Nebraska. He earned a B.S. in 1930 and an M.S. in 1932, later obtaining an M.D. in 1934 and a Ph.D. in 1938. Holyoke became a professor of Anatomy in 1946 and served as Chairman of the Department of Anatomy from 1960 to 1973. He was noted for being the first to recognize the fine structure of the blood-testis barrier alongside Paul J. Gardner.
