Edvard Mikaelian (born May 25, 1950, in Yerevan, Armenia) was a former gymnast from the Soviet Union who competed in the 1970s. He began gymnastics in 1960 under coach Leonid Zakharian and was a member of the Soviet national gymnastics team from 1967 to 1974. Mikaelian participated in the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, where he competed in artistic gymnastics and was part of the unified team that won a silver medal. He also competed in the 1974 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, earning another silver medal. He retired in 1976 and later became the head coach of the Armenian national gymnastics team in 1993-1994.
