Eduardo Escobar Massé was a Spanish politician born in Badajoz on December 20, 1938. He was a member of the Communist Party of Spain and later joined Izquierda Unida, where he served as provincial secretary until resigning due to health issues. In 2011, he was named honorary president of the Communist Party in Almería for his contributions. After retiring, he focused on improving living conditions in the Barrio Alto of Almería through the neighborhood association 'La Paciencia,' which he founded in 2006 and led until his death on October 6, 2018.
