Born in Novi Sad, he had a diverse career in civil engineering, teaching extensively at the University of Ljubljana. Rodošek published numerous scholarly articles and several professional publications focusing on planning, technology, and economics in construction. He developed a keen interest in literature, particularly during the rise of science fiction in the 1960s, translating works and writing his own short stories.
