Edmund Ree (April 20, 1920 – February 11, 2005) was a Norwegian painter and environmentalist, raised on Jeløy in Moss. He was the son of author Ørnulf Ree and the father of biologist Viggo Ree and painter Elisabeth Ree. Ree was married to Edith Ree and lived near Galleri Varden in Jeløy. He was dedicated to preserving the nature of Jeløy, which was highlighted in Edmund Schilvold’s book, 'For alltid Jeløy,' that celebrates his artistic contributions and environmental efforts.
