Edgar Feichtner is a German economist who has been a professor at Regensburg University since 1997. He studied business sciences in Regensburg, Munich, and Johannesburg, and completed his doctorate in 1991 with a dissertation on peasant liberation in Lower Bavaria. He founded mafotools gmbh, a private market research institute, in 1999. Besides his academic career, he is also a musician, performing in various bands including Schinderhannes, and he has been involved in projects that contributed to the development of city logos.
