Ede Derzsi was a Romanian volleyball player born on October 28, 1934, in Barót. He was a member of the Romanian national team that finished fourth at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics. Derzsi was recognized for his achievements in Romanian national, European, and World Championship competitions and was a winner of the CEV Champions Cup. Beyond his playing career, he also served as a coach and a sports club leader. He was married to journalist Erzsébet Mátray.
