Edda Andrésdóttir is an Icelandic journalist, news anchor, and writer, born on December 28, 1952. She began her career in journalism at the newspaper Vísir in 1971, subsequently working for various media outlets including RÚV and Stöð 2. Edda has also produced programs for radio and television, and served as an editor for magazine Hús og híbýli. After a long tenure in news anchoring, she retired on August 11, 2022.
