Edward Albert Thilenius was an American sports announcer known for his work as the play-by-play voice of the University of Georgia Bulldogs football team from 1955 to 1965. He was also part of the inaugural Atlanta Falcons radio broadcast team. Thilenius served as city editor for the Athens Banner-Herald and sports director for WAGA in Atlanta for 12 years. In 1975, he became head of public relations for the Atlanta Flames NHL team. He co-authored a book about coach Wally Butts titled 'No Ifs, No Ands, A Lot of Butts' in 1960.
