Edward Rimkus was an American bobsled driver born in Schenectady on August 10, 1913. He was active in the sport during the 1940s and participated in the 1948 Winter Olympics held in St. Moritz, where he won a gold medal in the four-man bobsled event. He formed a team with Francis Tyler, Patrick Martin, and William D'Amico. Rimkus passed away in Long Beach on May 17, 1999.
