Edward J. Rasimus (1942-2013) was a Major in the United States Air Force and a veteran fighter pilot renowned for his service in the Vietnam War. During his tour, he flew over 250 combat missions in the F-105 Thunderchief and F-4 Phantom II aircraft. His valiant service earned him numerous accolades including the Silver Star, five Distinguished Flying Crosses, and multiple Air Medals. In addition to his military achievements, Rasimus was also an award-winning author who lived in Northern Texas.
