Drew McDowall is a Scottish composer and musician based in New York City. He is known for his pivotal role in the influential band Coil during the 1990s and has collaborated with numerous artists across various genres. McDowall formed the art-punk trio Poems and was a member of Psychic TV. Since the early 2000s, he has focused on solo projects, releasing several albums and touring extensively. His recent work includes live reinterpretations of Coil's 'Time Machines' and the 2023 box set release 'Lamina'.
