He began writing prose and poetry in 1953 and created illustrations for various books. In the 1960s, he emigrated to West Germany as a guest worker and resided mainly in Frankfurt am Main from 1966 onwards, with some interruptions. He was known for his diverse artistic talents and contributions to literature and visual arts.
