His notable works include "Sindhi Literature: A Historical Overview," "Tazkara Shahbaz," and "Sufism in Sindh." He was awarded the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz by the Government of Pakistan in honor of his literary services. He passed away on September 11, 1996, in Larkana, Pakistan.
