Đorđe Mano-Zisi was a Serbian archaeologist and art historian born in 1901 in Budapest. He graduated from the Philosophical Faculty in Belgrade in 1925 and specialized in classical archaeology in Berlin as a Humboldt Scholar. He worked at the Museum in Belgrade from 1928 until his retirement in 1970. Mano-Zisi excavated and researched in Stobi and is noted for his field notes from Ohrid, focusing on small churches and his analysis of 'St. Sophia' in Ohrid.
