Donka Madej was a Polish translator and numerologist of Bulgarian descent, born on September 25, 1934, in Sofia. She completed her theater studies in Sofia but had to leave Bulgaria due to her family's class enemy status. In Poland, she worked in various roles in theater while translating between Bulgarian and Polish. A known expert in esotericism, particularly numerology and astrology, she also founded the Psychotronic Society and taught at several institutions. Madej passed away on February 3, 2014, in Warsaw and is buried in the Northern Communal Cemetery.
