Donizete Galvão was a Brazilian poet and journalist, born in Borda da Mata on August 24, 1955, and passed away in São Paulo on January 30, 2014. During his childhood in Minas Gerais, he became influenced by Brazilian poetry, particularly the modernist movement. He studied Business Administration in Santa Rita do Sapucaí and Journalism at Faculdade Cásper Líbero in São Paulo. Throughout his literary career, he published eight volumes of poetry and collaborated with Ronald Polito to release 'Pelo Corpo' in 2002.
