Donald Patriquin is a Canadian composer, organist, and choral conductor born on October 21, 1938, in Sherbrooke, Quebec. He is renowned internationally for his choral and instrumental arrangements of folk music. Patriquin served on the Faculty of Music at McGill University from 1965 to 1996. Currently, he resides in the Eastern Townships of Quebec. His contributions to music education and composition have been significant in the Canadian music landscape.
