Donald Shaw Mackinnon Macdonald, born on 25 September 1951, is a former Scottish international rugby union player. He earned seven caps for the Scotland national team between 1977 and 1978. In addition to his international career, Macdonald played for several clubs, including Oxford University RFC, London Scottish FC, and West of Scotland FC. His sporting legacy includes his older brother Dugald MacDonald, who played for South Africa during the 1974 British Lions tour.
