Dolores Echaide, also known as Lola Echaide, was a Spanish archaeologist born in San Sebastián on April 19, 1928. She was notable for her role as a field director in the excavation campaigns led by F. Clark Howell and Leslie Freeman at the archaeological sites of Torralba and Ambrona. Echaide made significant contributions to the study of prehistoric archaeology until her passing in the same city on July 18, 2018.
