Dmytro Semenowytsch Kiwa was a prominent Soviet and Ukrainian scientist and aircraft designer associated with the Ukrainian State Enterprise Antonov. Born on October 8, 1942, in Kasan, Tatar ASSR, he earned a doctorate in engineering and served as a professor at the National Technical University of Ukraine 'KPI'. In 2006, he became a member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and was also a member of the Academy of Technical Sciences. His contributions to aircraft design and engineering have been significant in Ukraine's aerospace sector.
