Dmytro Hubiak is a Ukrainian bandurist-vocalist and composer born on March 18, 1982, in Terebovlia, Ternopil Oblast. He is the son of educator and ethnographer Vasyl Hubiak. A member of the National Union of Kobzars of Ukraine since 2003, he was honored as a distinguished artist of Ukraine in 2009. Hubiak is recognized for his expertise in the Kharkiv method of playing the bandura.
