Dmitry Ivanovich Barashev (October 19, 1920 - August 20, 1943) was a Soviet pilot and commander of a flight in the 752nd Bomber Aviation Regiment of the 24th Bomber Aviation Division. He held the rank of lieutenant and was awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union for his bravery during World War II. His notable actions in combat contributed significantly to the Soviet war effort. He was recognized posthumously for his dedication and heroism. His achievement was commemorated on March 25, 1943.
