Bernie Michael, known as Dixie Peach, is a British radio DJ and musician who was part of the original team of Radio Caroline when it relaunched in 1983. He later joined BBC Radio 1, becoming the third black DJ to present there, and hosted shows specializing in American rock and funk. Peach also appeared on television programs like Top of the Pops, and has contributed backing vocals for artists such as Elton John and Hall & Oates. His career includes hosting radio shows at CNFM and BFBS Radio.
