Dirk Neumann was a German jurist born on April 26, 1923, in Glauchau, Saxony. He served as a judge from 1965 until his retirement in 1990, becoming Vice President of the Federal Labor Court in 1986. In 1992, he was appointed the founding president of the newly established Saxon State Labor Court in Chemnitz, a position he held until his retirement in April 1993. He passed away on September 27, 2023, in Kassel.
