Dimitris Gogos, born in Piraeus on February 28, 1903, and died in Athens on November 18, 1985, was a renowned Greek rebetiko singer, instrumentalist, and composer, popularly known as Dimitris Bagianteras. He earned the nickname 'Bagianteras' in 1925 when he arranged and performed pieces from Emmerich Kálmán's operetta 'Die Bajadere'. Gogos composed several hit songs, including 'Zoosa monahos horis agapi', 'Chatzikiriakio', and 'Sa magemeno to myalo mu', which contributed significantly to the rebetiko music genre.
