Dieter Tetzlaff, born on January 13, 1944, in Schneidemühl, was a successful speedway rider from East Germany. He began his motorsport career in 1965 at MC Güstrow and won the East German Championship five times in individual competition between 1974 and 1980. Tetzlaff also achieved success in pair competitions and participated in numerous international speedway races. In 1978, he was awarded the ADMV honorary badge in gold for his achievements. He is married and has one daughter.
