Diego del Gastor, born Diego Flores Amaya, was a prominent flamenco guitarist born in Arriate on March 15, 1908, and later settled in Morón de la Frontera, Sevilla. Known for his unique improvisational style, he trained both with his brothers and as a self-taught musician, inspiring various cantaores. Despite his prolific performances, he recorded little due to fears of imitation. He influenced many American students and notable guitarists like Toti Soler and left a lasting legacy, as seen in the works of his nephew Diego de Morón and the group Son de la Frontera.
