Didier Lecat was a French journalist, writer, and administrator born on January 17, 1946, in Paris and passed away on October 25, 2004, in Neuilly-sur-Seine. He began his career at ORTF in the Youth Information service and later became the general director of Road Safety in Paris. Lecat is best known for hosting 76 episodes of the treasure hunt show 'La Chasse au trésor' between 1982 and 1984. He also co-authored an interview book with singer Hélène Ségara in 2003.
