Diana Poulton (1903-1995) was an influential English lutenist and musicologist. She studied at the Slade School of Fine Art from 1919 to 1923 and trained under Arnold Dolmetsch. Known for her significant contribution to the early music revival, Poulton played a pivotal role in popularizing the lute and its music. In 1923, she married illustrator Tom Poulton, whom she had met during her studies at the Slade, further enriching her artistic environment.
