Nikolai Nerling, born on August 26, 1980, in Vastorf, is a German right-wing extremist, anti-Semite, and Holocaust denier. Since 2017, he has propagated far-right ideology as a video blogger under the title Der Volkslehrer, aligning with the Reichsbürger movement and the conspiracy narratives of the so-called Querdenker movement since 2020. He was convicted in December 2019 for Holocaust trivialization at the Dachau concentration camp memorial. In August 2022, he received a suspended nine-month prison sentence for incitement to hatred and other offenses.
