David Zlatopolskij (December 12, 1919 - February 9, 2002) was a Soviet and Russian lawyer recognized for his expertise in Soviet constitutional law and issues of sovereignty. He earned a Doctor of Law degree in 1963 and became a professor at the law faculty of Moscow State University in 1964. Zlatopolskij was a distinguished figure in legal education and was honored as a Distinguished Scholar of the RSFSR in 1979 and a Distinguished Professor of Moscow University in 1996.
