David Russell Wood is a retired British Circuit judge born on December 13, 1948. He was educated at Sedbergh School and the University of East Anglia, where he earned a BA in 1970. Called to the bar at Gray's Inn in 1973, he served as a Circuit judge from 1995 until his retirement in 2014. Notably, he held the position of President of the Council of Circuit Judges in 2008.
