David Schüler is a former German volleyball player, born on February 14, 1963, in Berlin. He played for VdS Berlin from 1979 to 1989, achieving the title of German Cup winner in 1986. Later, he joined Bayer Leverkusen and became the German champion in 1990. After suffering an elbow injury in 1991, he retired from the national team, having earned 212 caps. He continued playing in the Bundesliga until 1994. In beach volleyball, he won third place in 1993 and second in 1994 at the German Championships. He currently works in management at Commerzbank.
