David Grusky is an American sociologist, born on April 14, 1958. He holds the position of Barbara Kimball Browning Professor at Stanford University and is a senior fellow at the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research. Grusky also directs the Stanford Center on Poverty and Inequality. Previously, he was associated with Cornell University, where he founded the Center for the Study of Inequality, contributing significantly to the fields of sociology and economic policy research.
