Darya Hodaei, born in 1989 in Tabriz, is an Iranian-American children's book author and a doctor in the field of pediatrics. She began writing short stories at the age of nine and later earned her doctorate in pediatrics from Tabriz University. At 26, she moved to the United States, where she focuses on children's literature and promoting her native language. Currently residing in Miami, she leads an English-Azerbaijani media platform that showcases the culture and traditions of Azerbaijani Turks. Her book 'The Halloween of Girdatan' is among the best-selling titles on Amazon.
