His literary work explores contemporary themes through historical, mythical, and aesthetic parameters rooted in the medieval world. His first novel published in Galician is 'As covas do rei Cintolo' (1956), and his politically charged theatrical pieces include 'Prisciliano. Traxidrama en dous aitos' (1970) and 'Os irmandiños. Drama histórico' (1978), contributing to a unique chivalric ideal that connects the past and present.
