Dana Lynn Dodd was an American murder victim whose body was discovered in 2006 in Kilgore, Texas. Initially unidentified, investigators hoped a new reconstruction in 2013 could provide leads. In August 2018, Joseph Wayne Burnett was charged with her murder after he confessed and suggested the victim might be named 'Ashley.' The case was later submitted to the DNA Doe Project, which identified her in January 2019, 12 years posthumously. During her anonymity, she was referred to as 'Lavender Doe.'
