Dan Peter Ying, born on November 17, 1957, in Brämaregården, Gothenburg, is a Swedish director and screenwriter. He is known for directing feature films such as 'Sandarinernas sång' and 'Hem ljuva hem,' featuring actors Michael Nyqvist and Alexandra Rapaport. 'Hem ljuva hem' was notably the first Swedish feature film shot in the digital 24p format. In addition, Ying directed an advertisement for Microbike and worked as a fight coordinator on the production of 'Jägarna.' He is also the twin brother of cinematographer Dick Ying.
